Bromley 2-2 Maidstone United

Bromley dropped out of the National League play-off places as they led twice but had to settle for a point against Maidstone, who are now 14 games without a win.

The home side got off to the perfect start as Josh Rees took advantage of some sloppy defending to score in the fifth minute.

New signing Ross Lafayette should have equalised for Maidstone but blazed over when through one-on-one, but the visitors were level after 35 minutes when Joe Anderson's cross was tapped in by Jamar Loza.

Rees had already spurned a golden chance to restore Bromley's advantage when George Porter's superb chipped effort made it 2-1 in time added on at the end of the first half.

Brandon Hanlan fired inches wide and Rees headed straight at the keeper as Bromley looked for a killer third, but they were made to pay as substitute Blair Turgott slotted the ball through the keeper's legs to snatch a point.

Maidstone's Dean Beckwith was sent off in time added on.
