Gateshead 1-2 AFC Fylde

Danny Rowe scored twice as Fylde moved into the National League play-off places with a win at Gateshead.

Rowe struck twice in the first half to move his side into the top seven.

His first came in the 16th minute when he tucked in Jack Muldoon's cross at the near post.

Rowe added a second eight minutes before the break when he cut in from the left and hammered a shot through goalkeeper James Montgomery's legs.

Gateshead pulled one back through Richard Peniket in the fourth minute of added time but they quickly ran out of time in their search for an equaliser.
