Juventus beat Fiorentina to go top of Serie A, in a game with video assistant referee controversy.
Referee Marco Guida initially awarded Fiorentina an 18th-minute penalty for a Giorgio Chiellini handball.
But three minutes later - with Jordan Veretout waiting to take the kick - Guida reversed the decision after a VAR consultation and awarded a free-kick to Juve for offside instead.
Federico Bernardeschi and Gonzalo Higuain scored Juve's goals.
Bernardeschi's excellent free-kick after the break gave them the lead and Higuain curled home a late second from just inside the box.
Fiorentina, who remain 11th, hit the post - through Gil Dias - in the first half.
Goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon, who is going to retire this summer, made his 500th league appearance for the champions.
Juve - who have kept 15 clean sheets in their last 16 games - have gone two points above Napoli, who host Lazio in their game in hand on Saturday (19:45 GMT).
