Tuesday's League One game between Bristol Rovers and Wigan has been postponed because of freezing temperatures in Bristol.

A Bristol Rovers statement said that though the pitch at the Memorial Stadium was covered, it would have frozen once the covers were removed.

A rearranged date for the fixture has yet to be announced.

Wigan are currently third in League One, two points outside the top two, while Rovers are in 12th place.
