Ok it's off topic , but still football. That was great what Oxlade-Chamberlain done ! 👍
Breaking news. SFA show they have grown a pair to finally confront the basket of assets over certain irregularities, not unlike those being practiced now. Futile of course, since no fine will ever be paid and the newly developed pair will disappear at first hint of doing the decent thing and excluding the perpetrators.
@46,Beg to differ on point number 2 Goy Bhoy 1888, unless the Harry Wraggs go through the trapdoor, we will still have some Old Firm games next season! HH@42, by the way, no believin' your PS.....I smell $hite?
@gashinblue regarding post 35You stated falsehoods pertaining to both Rangers and Scottish Football1 Rangers were not demoted they were liquidated hence my reply to you2 There is no Old Firm that ceased in 2012 (Celtic own the rights)3 My posts were pertaining to the whole of the top flight over the past 50 years not Rangers4 Celtic had £26.5m in the Bank in Feb5 You are gash in blue
44. Posted by DunnykenCeltic themed? Pretty sure the article is about the whole Scottish premiership season. You should maybe read the whole thing.
CELTIC themed HYS..other fans , you want to comment?...then take the flak
Hopefully Tierney,Hendry, Ajer, Morgan, McGregor, Bain , Forrest will form the base for a new Celtic era of dominance, get rid of the dross and bring in new Celtic minded players. Will be the top team in Scotland for years to come. If others want to pay £6mill for J.McGinn let them...overpriced...better players out there for much less.
36. Posted by Goy Bhoy 1888No wonder Rangers fans say you're all obsessed. Your club are winning everything in sight and all you want to talk about is the side that finished 3rd. ps. Im not a Rangers fan. As a neutral i can give an unbiased opinion. Celtic fans are obsessed and it's just creepy.
Celtic better be on their toes next season...Scott Arfield says in the paper today:'More stars to follow'!! If he's an example of that then look out for free transfers, loanees and pension baggers to follow!! Jessie, get me a pair of dry pants hen!Bring on the tenHH
@38,If you agree with 32 that makes you a fud as well then! HH
@34 Undoubtedly Scottish football regressed when home grown talent fell victim to the mass influx of foreign mercenaries - england are beginning to experience a similar impact too! However, there are other factors, such as the collapse of communism in the eastern bloc that has seen many previous minor leagues make huge advances - who had ever heard of Basle or Progres a few years back?
I agree with 32. KaymoScottish football would be much better off with Rangers in the English leagues and Celtic in the Irish Leagues. Do Ireland have any football leagues?
Overall I think it's been a good season for Scottish football. Plenty positives. But I'd like to see our European club representatives be more successful, the national team too. That's been the real let down in recent years.
@35 Oh my where to start with this one?Here...https://www.lbhf.gov.uk/sites/default/files/A_Guide_to_Starting_a_Sports_Club_tcm21-149209.pdfRangers were Liquidated there was no demotion.
34. Posted by ParSoupHave you been asleep for the last 4-5 years? Rangers got sent to the lower leagues which had a huge financial impact on the whole of Scottish football? The old firm brings a lot of money into Scottish football. Rangers or Celtic on their own dont bring much money in. In the modern game a lack of money brings in lack of European success.
What on earth has happened to Scottish football? Over the last 4 or 5 years it just seems to have fallen off a cliff. I can remember when Rangers and Celtic were both forces in Europe. Sad to see the state of affairs up there.
Or to be completely refreshing let’s just deal in fact and leave the delusional posts to the fantasistsMy posts below cover the past 50 years of Top flight Scottish Football.Nothing to do with Sectarianism, bigotry or otherwiseCeltic is a Scottish Club founded by Irishmen for and behalf of Irish people who found themselves in Scotland through no fault of their own.Just facts deal with them
And we are off. Cue the comments section and the supporters of two clubs built on sectarianism having a go at each other like a bunch of primary school children. The only difference between the two is that Rangers fans seem to be proud to be bigots, Celtic fans seem to be in permanent denial about the fact. Lets to a crowdfund to move Ibrox to London and Parkhead to Dublin, or both to Belfast
30. Continued...Could the resident Bears/Trolls please explain this theory of self entitlement you have regarding “Returning to the top of Scottish Football”I’m at a serious loss as to why you even think that was the case in the modern era? This 50 years is post 1967 the Quintuple and 4 of the 9 in a row under Stein btw.
