All of Leicester's 'record' signings have, to be honest, been absolutely rubbish. However, their 'bargain' signings (Mahrez - £400k in £60M out; Kante £6M in £30M out (more if not for contract clause); Vardy 1M in ??? out) have been brilliant so it makes you think about the practice of just chucking other peoples money (BT & SKY subscribers) at the situation :-D !
Musca was a big disappointment, so it is understandable he has gone. Mind you, I was amazed at his performance in the WC; why could he not do that for us?Inevitably Mahrez has gone: a great player but last season he made it clear he wanted out.It is key we keep Maguire. Otherwise sell Iborra and 1 or 2 passengers and buy a really good midfielder. So disappointed the great Kanté went.
I read many racist discriminating comments here from LCFC fans. I am glad Riyad Mahrez left. I am a North African and would highly advise African players to go elsewhere in Europe than England.
Al-Nassr ay? Maybe this guy is the first piece in the jigsaw for a new sheikhs plaything, Let's be honest, if they can make a silk purse from that pig's ear of a club in Moss Side they can make Al-Nassr look good.
Why did anyone down vote @40 he is absolutely spot on! Or is it the BBC muppet employees doing as they are ordered?
Great athlete, average technique, poor football brain. As a Leicester fan that would be my analysis of Ahmed Musa. We played him on the wing on most occasions which to be fair is not his natural position, he will probably do well in a league that isn't quite as technically demanding, with all due respect to the Saudi league.
No idea why Leicester are letting him go, yes his first season wasn't that great but he is clearly a class act with a lot to give going forward to the right tactics.
I don't blame him for moving on, it didn't work out too well for him at Leicester sadly for Leicester fans. Will be interesting to see if they manage to hold on to some of their key players now especially with Mahrez moving to City and still links of Maguire moving.
The fact that it didn't work out for him at Leicester could be for a number of reasons: not enough consecutive games to get accustomed to the Premier League; culture shock, etc, but that doesnt mean he is a bad player at all.As an Arsenal fan i can say that when CSKA Moscow played us at the Emirates this year he was easily the best player on the pitch.
#33 yes spoonman it was him who had a superb game and ran half the pitch to score against Barcelona in California. I was excited at the prospect but then sadly turned out to be another poor Ranieri signing which ultimately cost the great man his job. I remember his almost comical performance at Sheffield United last season.
