Well done to them. More exposure. The other guys aren't that special and no one is indispensable but...shame on Danes for not sorting out their business. Everyone needs to get paid.
Sounds like the Scottish team tbh. Their captain was playing division 3 football last season
"Well they would beat Scotland!!"The same Scotland that England needed a last minute goal to scrape a draw against the last time they played?
Also, can't be bothered to scroll down to find who said them, but a couple of comments along the lines of "you'd never have seen Laudrup not turning up for his country" really do need to check themselves. Look up Euro '92, wherein the better of the Laudrups boycotted the national team because of a falling out with the then coach, and because he didn't think Denmark stood a chance
The players gained support across all the leagues in Denmark, not only the top two tiers. Most of those players are on less pay than their equivalents over here, in a country which is expensive to live in. There's a difference between "playing with pride for your country" and letting the already quite well off DBU own them for doing so
@104 WhatUtter rubbish! Scotland are much improved and would trounce these part-timers.
A waste of time tournament.
Well they would beat Scotland!!
Students playing and they only lost 3-0 shows how over rated footballers actually are
Hope the first are back before we play them. It would be a bit embarrassing to lose to these, no disrespect, but pro should beat non pro. However, I wouldn't back ROI to do it!
A student a baker and a candlestick maker. And it was more entertaining than the 'professional' crap that is modern soccer.
