Match ends, Brighton and Hove Albion Women 2, Yeovil Town Ladies 1.

Brighton & Hove Albion won for the first time in the WSL top flight as they triumphed in the battle of the bottom two with Yeovil Town Ladies.
While Brighton's first three points lifted them above Everton into ninth, Yeovil remain pointless in last place.
After Jodie Brett set Brighton on their way on 13 minutes, Victoria Williams doubled that lead on 32 minutes.
Ellie Mason pulled one back by forcing home the rebound after her penalty was saved, but it was not enough.

Brighton manager Hope Powell:
"We knew this would be a close contest. Yeovil made it very difficult for us in the second half and stopped us playing the way we like to play.
"But it doesn't matter that we won scrappily. It's a massive result, gives us a bit of breathing space and hopefully a bit of momentum too.
"It was a team effort and we knew it had to be. In the second half they threw a lot of long balls towards us, but we held on."
