Barnet 1-3 Salford City

Salford surged to the top of the National League with a 3-1 comeback win against Barnet at the Hive Stadium.

John Still's hosts went ahead late in the first half when Cheye Alexander charged down the right and crossed for Wesley Fonguck to angle in his fourth goal in three games.

However, there were still three minutes left for Rory Gaffney to redirect Nathan Pond's cross into the corner for a Salford leveller before the break.

It proved pivotal as, within a couple of minutes of the restart, Dan Lloyd-McGoldrick's shot was blocked by Dan Sweeney only for Tom Walker to dispatch the rebound.

Mark Shelton then arrived late in the box to convert Scott Wiseman's cross and put the match beyond Barnet.
