Would imagine he's worth a punt from Slippy Gee in January when the Gruffallo heads off to the Orient? After all, he's got that cup final experience which they are lacking.
It’s Dull in Aberdeen with tiny crowds.
I've been really impressed with this young man. He's played at Motherwell, an SPL club, worked hard and then moved up a few levels by playing for Preston, who are nearly mid-table in the Championship, England's second tier. Well done.
Tup...a trifle harsh on Preston...but 100% correct he should've signed for the Dons instead. Whether or not any decent striker could do anything with the 'hoofbaw' tactics we are currently employing is a moot point of course...
Come to Aberdeen, your very much needed
Who are ye, son?
18 The KnowledgeDo you want a list of duds that have come up from the over hyped English leagues that have come up here? You've only got a top 4! With all the money in your league the teams below that are still terrible! Wouldn't pay to watch themStart with Barton, Joe Garner, Beattie, Flo, Jeffers...
I'll always have a soft spot for him after he put the new club to the sword at Hampden.Signing for Preston must be like retiring, completely pointless club, all for £££. Should have signed for a real club like Aberdeen.
@15Quite frankly if that is the best list of names you can arrive it then my point is further proven. Case closed m'lord.
50 goals in just over 2 seasons from a player stepping up from non league football to the Scottish premiership, he took his chance Well, i am fairly sure none of the alleged stars at either of the Glasgow ugly sisters or other top league Scottish clubs can match those stats, will be remembered well at first parkNice to see him scoring again at PNE,
I’m surprised the BBC aren’t doing an article on the African footballer of the year instead of Louis Moult. Can Lenny Henry present the award please?
#14,Would that be like Van Dyjk, Wanyama, Robertson, Ki etc? Drivel on maybe
Yet another instance of a player who found that the Scotch Premier League is about the equivalent of the English National League
Why exactly are BBC Sport Scotland dragging up an article about a footnote in SPFL mediocrity such as Motherwell and Moult 2017, what a yawn of a read.
9. Back up player at Celtic Park? I remember the same being said of Scott McDonald when he moved from the Well. Only 88 appearances and 51 goals for Celtic!
“ferociously ambitious” at Deepdale ?
