I find him a great character! Old school. No airs and graces. Although he's mellowed nowadays. Happy 70th Neil.
Genuine legendCan take a bunch of ragtag trash and turn them into a TEAM like no other manager canHe rubs plenty up the wrong way, but that's just his passion coming through, NOT the sort of passion that sees him abusing opponents or officials, unlike many others, but the passion of someone who gives his best and expects his club to do the same
Some cheap shots here. Jealously.?Happy 70th Mr. Warnock.
Annoying manager. Effective in a way but horrible football to watch
Let's get one thing straight : it's not just the opposition fans who loath the man ...oh, and before I hit post comment, there is a second point : "Warnock + honest guy = oxymoron"
Happy Birthday Neil.
Will and forever be known as Colin.
Top bloke. Makes football exciting and average players perform better.
His methods work & he seems to have mellowedBut when he tells one of his players to break another pro's legs its unacceptable which I can't forgive him for
Happy birthday Neil, one of all too few genuine characters left in the game these days.
I’ve met him twice,21 yrs apart and he never changed. Both times took time out to chat about football.Your Maureen’s and the rest of the pampered top 6 managers and players would run a mile rather than lower themselves. He’s made dreams come true for some small clubs. He’s honest and speaks his mind, prob why he’s never had a chance at a bigger club.I would’ve loved to see him as Cloughie’s assistant!
