118i. Judging by your comment you are either naive or just plain ignorant. Stick to comments you know about or it makes you look stupid
I'm a Wolves fan and I thought Shrewsbury played really well, when they scored the second goal I thought they were going to cause an upset, didn't really want a replay to be honest...
99 Raycappo, wondered how long it would take to mention that fluky European win, WOLVES created the Champions league, and got to the Quarter Finals 35 years before you lot, we were also world Champions, get used to it, your finished
Robyn Cowen awful commentator; her high pitched estuary whining hurts my ears, prefer to turn sound off but I don't know much about Shrewsbury team. There's another woman commentator who is awful too, commentated on Derby's game in first round. Better to have the ludicrously biased local radio commentators!!!
Wolves and Shrewsbury have had so many connections over the years with players and managers, Graham Turner did wonders at both clubs as manager, he's the only manager that has taken us Shrews to promotion to the old division 2, now the championship. We now have former Wolves player Sam Ricketts as our manager, maybe one day he can do what Graham Turner did for us, but it won't be this season.
Dealing with #118's odd comment, I ran out of characters and so I add here: Well played Shrewsbury, you were unlucky (though we do have a habit of knowing how to get late goals). I expect a tough game back at the Mol too and look forward to us giving a really warm welcome to GT, Dave Edwards, Sam Ricketts and you all..... though I hope we can win, of course!!
My god, we were lucky to get away with a draw, though admire how we stick it out to the very end. I felt so gloomy, though when we scored our first, it was always possible. Hats off to the Doc et al. The Shrews were incredibly unlucky and I am delighted we are still in the hat. Graeme Turner is mentioned ..... a fine ambassador for both clubs, what an influence. Wolves fan as youngster too!UTW!
#118 So we all have to thank the town which is home to the team first managed by a manager who started our revival. So which town do Liverpool thank? Carlisle United? And Shankley was able to take the Red's further than GT could take us so are more thanks owed? At Wolves we are very grateful to GT and surely respect Shrewsbury Town and the town itself but TotKs, your point is lost on me.
It must be difficult for Villa fans to witness the success of Wolves. Don't forget we've had many years in the doldrums and suffered the ridicule from our neighbours. Come on give us some credit and accept that we are going places. Face the facts you are a mid table Championship club right now. Please don't harp on about European success, most of your fans weren't even born then!!!
Muggy Muppet Minging merciless
Sure the villa nut is a crossdresser
