Doncaster's League One play-off push maintained momentum with a draw at local rivals Scunthorpe.
Having deservedly led through Mallik Wilks' close-range finish, Rovers had to settle for a point when pegged back by a header from the hosts' Kyle Wootton midway through the second half.
While both sides had half-chances in the opening quarter, it was in-form Doncaster who made most of the running and they were rewarded for looking slicker and quicker when Wilks found the bottom corner in the 25th minute from Herbie Kane's ball in from the left.
Wootton had a header clawed away under the bar by visiting stopper Marko Marosi just before the break, before Rovers continued in the ascendancy after half-time.
They came close to doubling their lead when a drive from Wilks struck the foot of a post and top scorer John Marquis squandered a great opportunity when the ball was returned to the box, lifting it over from six yards.
It proved to be a costly miss as the Iron improved and when Levi Sutton took a 69th minute free-quick quickly, Wootton headed home from Adam Hammill's inviting cross.
