Usual excuses by Pulis. As a Boro fan I have to watch our ultra defensive play each week and it's not attractive. Our best striker (in fact our only good striker) was taken off and Friend was brought on. We then conceded 2 goals and lost. This was TP's fault, no one else's. If Boro reach the playoffs I do not think we will win. Pulis left out Bamford last year and we scored 0 goals in 2 games.
The Boro don't seem to be inspired; they don't have passion enough to be determined to win, come what may, they don't believe they can achieve. Most of the brainwork is supposed to come from their leader.Tony, please inspire your troops to believe in themselves.3 points or nothing!
Nevermind Ref's getting desicions right. Managers do aswell. Taking Assombalonga off for Friend. Biggest mistake so far.. More to come.
@25 Ye Oldphart: It's not a lack of caring, it's recognition of financial reality and our place in the financial football pyramid. We bring in promising players, allow them to play in a system that highlights their ability and get noticed by teams with more money. We now have enough financial stability to only sell when anan off meets our evaluation. Mepham is the prime example.
Brentford scored 60 this season, but the Boro have managed 39.39 in 35 matches!Yes, the Boro had more on target shots than last week against a lowly side, but Brentford have got something that the Boro lack, which creates goals.Well done Bees, for showing the Boro how to do it.The definition of madness is to do the same thing over + over, expecting a different result.Forget promotion!
Post 25 Ye Oldphart. Don't you really understand?? We have no choice. YOU REDSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a shame that Brentford won't hold onto any good players they develop. Ambition is to stay in this league to develop players for profit. They don't seem to care whether they get promotion. They don't have to break the bank but they must keep their best players if they want to go up and then stay there.
Bees deserved the win. As usual Pulis has to whinge about the ref. Poor loser. Can’t see Boro going anywhere near the PL on this sort of showing .
Geoff Spence, Geoff Spence, your boys took a hell of a beating. Enjoy the skiing holiday old chap.
but but Jonny Howson said this week that Boro would get automatic promotion :(
Bees fan here, Boro typical Pulis side , not an ounce of ability in it, shocking cynical fouling all game. Time wasting from the moment they scored. Takes a forward off and brings on a defender. Thank goodness I do not have to watch that rubbish every week. Season tickets going up next season to watch that dross every other week, unbelievable.
