Andy Robertson let the cat out of the bag after the Israel defeat. He said, “the players couldn’t decipher what the manager’s ‘tactic’ were...”McLeish and his assistants, dumb and dumber, are the problem. Get rid...
@489 Liam Cooper is not interested , Liam Lindsay and Murray Wallace are though, both better than McKenna , Bates or Mulgrew
497. BNASoccerNo its the poor management and SFA. ####You are correct sir.How can the SFA allow players to dictate what games they will play in?If you're picked, play.If you don't play, don't get picked again.
Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland can get the results when required. Why can't we? Are there players that significantly better than ours? No its the poor management and SFA. All this call-off nonsense, you either turn up and play or your international career should be over. Would England have players being excused because of a plastic pitch? No chance!
@491 Read comments properly and don't just dive in typing with a hammer.
The fact is we need players that want to play for the shirt. I afraid the current crop don't. Full of Celtic players who don't care. Its obvious, if we want to proceed the players will really want to play for the shirt, then we will see a performance. no defending set up against poor teams only attack, now come on if you lose then at least you have given all for the country, its all we ask.
I want to see a young Scottish manager get a chance with a youthful squad based on stamina, pressing and pace. And yes, there are enough talented Scottish players out there. We already have one of the best left backs in the world.
492. CoolverineMight be time for a foreign manager again, new ideas.####Yep, quite a few English ex managers looking for a job right now.
Might be time for a foreign manager again, new ideas.
,440. They can't play for any UK country. Odoi sancho for example were born in England. There's no possibility they would ever be available for Scotland or wales
