the semi finals at Wembley....SHAMEFUL!
@DudleymanDon't get the hate? Great game on Sunday against two good teams. One had to win. It wasn't your year.Chin up lad. You still got to the semi-final in your first year of Prem football.Be proud. Things look good for you.
Can't wait to see Mr Deeney in tears after Citeh win the cup! Maybe Sterling could wear a Mexican mask when he scores!
@348I have never before read such a piece of pomposity
Fair play Phil - I and many other Watford fans have given you stick in the past, but this is a fantastic write-up of what will go down as one of the great Wembley matches.
An absolute gem of a semi final where both sets of players gave 100%. Both sets of fans lit up Wembley in their respected colours too. As for the cup itself the semi-final and final are very corporate and this is wrong. Its the fans cup & this has been forgotten with corporate packages and prices of tickets in the stands unrealistic. The FA are a disgrace for creating this environment.
Marked down by a "I have a right to be offended" plastic fan with "top six team here" curtains and bedside lamps. Not all top six fans are plastic, but 90% of the ones on here are.
BBC if you ever take notice of HYS most fans are saying:Pundits: Stop rubbishing smaller teams, and actually learn about them, their journey, their recent history. It is partly your elitist stance that is ruining the FA Cup and football in general. Fans think it is Ok to belittle any team outside the top 6, because Lineker et al do it.Give footy back to the real fans, not the plastics
Thank you wolves and Watford for a brilliant spectacle. So, so much more exciting than the snorefest dished up in the other semi.
Football is a racist sport. Where are the black managers, coaches, chairmen, captains, directors and leading administrators? Where are the Asian players? It’s rotten to its core when the captain of the Grand Old Lady of Italian football blames his own black team mate for provoking racist abuse. It’s always been a racist sport, and it always will be.
It's not important anymore, but the irony is there are people who 'support' Arsenal/Chelsea etc saying the same thing. You are the problem! Support your local team. Not one you chose!
DIVING DEENIE yes had his dives over the fellas out streched leg.....princess diva. BBC blowing hot air, and the high lights on MOTD edited all there cynical fouls out....
Ctg2010 - I'm happy that there were singing City fans. McNulty's article completely ignored the fact that there were over 70,000 people at the game, so not an insignificant number, as well as the people watching on the TV, all of whom had given their time and money to watch the game and support the FA Cup. He completely ignored/wrote off these people in his article as being insignificant to him!
Each year the BBC try to tell us how the FA Cup is all about giant killers and they then do nothing but focus on all things Arsenal and Chelsea. Are they really surprised people are bored to tears with it?Sky are far more impartial. Thankfully!
This comment was removed because it broke the house rules. Explain
It was a brilliant cup tie from both Wolves and Watford just wish the BBC shown both semi-finals but BT Sport had to get it! I'm also happy for Watford's keeper Gomez and fair play to Ben Foster refusing to play to allow Gomez to play in the final of the FA Cup! Good luck Gomez we will miss you!
Ctg2010 - I wasn’t directly bashing City; my gripe is more about how the bbc are centred on the top 6 and pay (at best) token gesture attention to the rest. Maybe there is a Bermuda Triangle on the halfway line at Wembley where the noise from the respective ends disappears - must be reason for why you couldn’t hear us from start to finish (and why I couldn’t hear how raucous the City end was)!
The FA Cup becomes boring after the qualifying rounds and especially from the 3rd round
