Dagenham & Redbridge 2-0 Eastleigh

Eastleigh's play-off hopes suffered another setback as they were beaten by Dagenham & Redbridge.

Goals from Ollie Harfield and Chike Kandi either side of half-time consigned seventh-placed Eastleigh to a fourth defeat in five games.

The hosts went ahead in the 44th minute when Angelo Balanta's cross was diverted home by Harfield.

Dagenham doubled the lead seven minutes into the second half when Kandi nodded in after Harfield's corner was flicked on.

Kandi went close to his second moments later as he was kept out by Spitfires goalkeeper Luke Southwood.

Eastleigh missed a late chance through Joe Jones and now sit just three points clear of eighth-placed Ebbsfleet with two games to go.
