I don't doubt that there is always potential in every side, however even when decent players go to West Ham, they either leave for bigger, better clubs or get injured and remain on the sidelines, trying to force a transfer...!As a team and a club they need a change of mentality and projection - they are still viewed as a small club playing in a large stadium...Still no higher than 8 or 9
@273, as a neutral, I see potential in this West Ham side. Pellegrini was an ambitious move, & they've added some quality to their squad. Filipe Anderson is a world beater when in full flight; Yarmolenko too. These players have struggled to hit their potential & maintain it, but with Rice & Noble giving them some grounding, WHU are in with as good a shout as all the teams with 8pts to finish top 6
...loving all these delusional Wet Spam supporters who, after a 0-0 draw with a Championship side, really do believe they can make top 7, 6 and even 5....!!!Best joke of the decade...! Hahahaha...!Keep em coming...
Shocking performance yet again my Mike (useless, incompetent muppet) Dean, followed up by Suttons irrelevant review of the red card and game itself. Sutton was overpaid as a useless player and now he cashes in from the BBC too...Mugs! As for WHU - well done boys. Playing better than last season, the team has confidence to break into top 7 and we have the best team spirit I've seen in a long time!
West Ham are this season's dark horses. In Lanzini, they have as talented a playmaker as anyone; his contract extension shows he is happy & is now willing to reach his full potential. Ogbonna & Diop are rocks, whereas Haller looks a quality striker, who can only improve as he settles in more. Finally, Pellegrini has the nous with big egos & competing at a higher level. He will guide WHU to 5th.
Same old problems....Dean: "are you Clive Thomas in disguise?" (younger readers, look him up)Sutton: C - L - I - C - K - B - A - I -TOtherwise, both teams need a proper striker, though AVFC should give Hourihane a go. McGinn = MOTM. AVFC will be hard pushed to keep him; better than Grealish, who's overrated. Noble = too old and too fat but still WHU's best player.
MIke Dean is a disgrace who penalties west ham in every MAtch he refereEs. HE is A cheat .Simple . Sent off West ham winger feghouli after phil jones hacked him down 2 years ago.NOT FORGOTTEN .NOT FORGIVEN DEANO
@248 Great things were said about VAR and how it would cut down on bad decisions. There is one major flaw with this argument - it’s used by referees !The phrase chocolate fire guard therefore springs to mind!
Get rid of var and have lots of umpires like nfl

@263 to be fair to mike dean he could’ve produced more reds, el ghazi should’ve gone if going to letter of the law, and nobles attempt at a dive should’ve been a second yellow too. Though Masuaku really shouldn’t be rushing in like that on a yellow. Do think he blew up too often though, the game was very stop/start.
A lot of Birmingham City supporters on this HYS.
mike dean gives 50% more reds than any other referee in English football. When someone has that sort of statistic, employers need to be looking at it, asking why, and then doing something about it. He's also figured out the red card loop-hole, a 2nd yellow can't be checked by VAR, which is why a dive can still get players sent off.
Watched last 10 minutes apparently i missed nothing hope the fans got a refund dreadful game according to g neville
