I wouldn't say this piece of reportage quite deserves the level of moaning I've read. It is news that will matter to someone and thus falls under the remit and demands of the BBC. Criticising the Beeb for this piece - and its template? - is like having a go at pandas for only eating bamboo...
Oh no! Not Fabian Delph, however will England cope without a player that likely wouldn't have got any minutes, nor should ever be near an international squad in the first place. In other news, Glasgow is reeling from losing their only deck chair shop.I hate international breaks. It's all made up clickbait nonsense from lie peddlars like Balague, and irrelevant guff like this.
Re-OldBlue. England only scored 4 goals during the World Cup in 1970 and one of them was a penalty against a very poor Czech team. 2 up v West Germany and lost in the QF. Brazil scored 19 goals in the tournament, by far the best ever winning World Cup side.
Delph is a very defensive midfielder where the value comes more important against quality opposition. There is no need for defensive midfielders in these games - it would be great to see the games played as a training for attacking formations. This would be good practice for when going a goal down against quality opposition in finals. Henderson and Rice could also sit out these games
Why oh why oh why oh why do we keep getting these totally boring totally crass international breaks in our football, they are destroying the enjoyment of the game.
Delph ? Injured you say ? What an absolute shocker ! BBC have probably used this template about a dozen times and saved it on their desktop
' let's see it 49ers are for real' Cleveland 3-31 49ers just letting the BBC know the score!
"Oh no!" said absolutely nobody.
And in news equally as important.....Edna Higginbottom who launders the England team's socks has gone on holiday to Butlin's Bognor Regis.
