There are only two teams who have lost as many as us. We are playing relegation form football and at the moment and it is a real possibility. Why is Kean not playing up front? Give Tosun a chance, scrap zonal marking and kick Silva in to touch. Drop Pickford and play Lossell. Wallcott should be banned. This is stinking of Walker and Smith era.
Toffee ladies your neighbours showing you how it’s done hahaha
VAR an utter disgrace to football, just not enjoying the game anymore. If the fans had a referendum on it,it would be flushed down the pan
@212 you must not live in Liverpool otherwise you would know just how nasty, horrible, jealous, bitter, self entitled dopes Evermoanians are. Blame us for everything. I refer to my posts telling you all there is an Everton banner with a picture of Jimmy Savile saying JIMMY SAVILLE IS A RED. That's horrendous it's shows the supporters mentality. Look at yourselves before you look at anyone else
Brighton have had two or three games when fortune did not favour them this season and perhaps this game evened things up. Neither team deserved to lose, but that was the case last week at Villa and the result on that occasion went against us.
I thought that was the worst Brighton proformance this season in terms of our general play & for long periods Everton outplayed us. As for the penalty I'm still not sure as Keane was looking up & not at the players ankle, so not deliberate but it was the contact that brought him down & not acting as some have suggested. Pickford had a poor game & gifted Brighton the 1st goal
Do not like to criticize individuals but, Pickford and Keane are not the answer, it shows how is it is too become an English international. Why buy Kean when the manager will not play him. Should of been able to have run the clock down. Basically not good enough, another long season I feel looking behind us, this after 10 games.
I was at Amex yesterday, couldn't disagree more with Lineker and his "experts" on MOTD. Keane knew exactly what he was doing, VAR was 100% right to give a penalty (why wasn't Keane booked ?). Ref made clear/obvious error, by not awarding it..precisely what VAR is for....Brighton been on the "wrong end" of 2 VAR decisions earlier in the season- BTW both those overturns were also 100% correct.
There's always going to be 'inconsistencies' in decisions, even with VAR, as it's down to human judgment. Silva is illogical when he says that because Brighton were given a penalty for a foul, then Everton should have been given a penalty too for a similar incident. Problem is they're still 2 different incidents and have to be judged on their own merits, not on an 'even things out' basis.
