Dover Athletic 0-1 Stockport County

Frank Mulhern scored a wonder goal as Stockport claimed a second consecutive National League win with victory at Dover.

The forward netted the winner in the 29th minute in stunning fashion, unleashing a 45-yard volley from just inside the Dover half that flew over goalkeeper Yusuf Mersin and into the roof of the net.

Mersin had denied Sam Minihan and Tom Walker either side of Mulhern's remarkable effort.

Inih Effiong and Jai Reason fired over as Dover searched for an equaliser, with Mersin producing brilliant saves to prevent substitute Elliot Osbourne and Nyal Bell from killing the game off late on.

Dover, having made their full allocation of substitutes, had to play the final eight minutes with 10 men after Will de Havilland went off injured.
