It’s amusing to hear arsenal fans going all misty eyed about Wenger when in reality the club declined under him in his last years. He looked like yesterday’s man with no real idea about arresting the decline.
The poet talking utter rubbish there was never more than 10 fans in the stadium who ever booed AW.His departure was run by that numpty spurts fan on talkSPORT, that fat plonker with a mic, and 1000 and 1000 of spurts n Chelski fans.Every time a AW. Out banner appeared it was roundly booed by 90% of the fans. And yes I was there so saw it first hand.
AW total legend, best manager we ever had.Best manager to ever grace the PLWish him the best, Bayern would be lucky to get him.
@336 You could have a point if you were comparing apples with apples. Spurs firing Poch will be the best thing that happens to him, there are many big clubs who will sign him in a heartbeat.
Big Sam would look ace in lederhosen.
Theirs no way in the world he will be appointed Munich manager
@336.Difference there us that Bayern are ALWAYS top of their league and to be fourth, four points behind Monchengladbach, is disgusting in their view. Tottenham don't have the same level of expectation as Bayern.
I think the real talking point here is that the man who thrashed Spurs at home by 5 goals, and sat 4th in their league isn't good enough. While the man on the end of that thrashing, and sitting 11th in his league, still has a job.
blummin heck how the mighty have fallen bayern munich signing old man wenger bet the bayern fans are buzzin [ not ]
@330I think he's won the PL, unlike Liverpool. Just saying.
@ 4. Steh11 you can’t begrudge SAF for wanting to retire and enjoy himself after all he achieved. Also, to all the kids showing disrespect; Wenger is a legend and deserves respect and I’m not an arsenal fan
Wenger was the first to bring stats into team selections and player recruitment. He lost that advantage when everyone else caught up, and then he was just the 3rd or 4th best manager after that. Some people on here seem to think Emery's underachievement somehow means Wenger should have stayed. No, they just shouldn't have got Emery. Wenger was past it a long time
WENGER OUT WENGER OUT !!!!Where are you now lots????
