268-It's not about how many trophies a team has won it's about the size of the stadium and how much your players are worth and how big your manager is,and how popular you are with the media.
No ifs or buts, Silva must go. He's a charlatan and hoodwinker who has failed everywhere he has been. As for the Spurs fan's comment that Everton will never be as big as Spurs, he seems to be delusional: history tells us that Everton have always won more than Spurs, including nine top flight titles. Spurs do have one big advantage though: they can attract London residents to become their manager.
Everton will never be as big as spurs. Mourinho would never entertain joining you trophy dodging smallfry's.
If Everton board dither and delay over silva the situation will really turn toxic with the fans
Really believed Everton would prosper under Silva. I was well wrong. Onward.
Not so much a match report but an Everton heavy piece on their manager and the predicament they find themselves in rather than an impartial report, typical to what we've come to expect from the BBC when reporting on little old Norwich. Great win for City, solid platform to build upon!
@260. Psychology!! And a commitment from Norwich to wear red for x% of matches in a season.Either way, a well deserved victory for Norwich. OTBC!!
This result let me down in my 8 game accumulator. My £5 would have bought me just under £1200.Bah humbug....
I like Silva but Everton are a shadow of what I thought they would be this season. I only saw the highlights but it looked like they simply fell apart. Even Mark Noble looked completely deflated in the post match interview. If he is down then there is real trouble. The next 3 games are horrible and I would expect nothing. MaybeMoyes till end of season and see how it goes. Shame to see this,
Can someone explain a colour-clash between:- Everton's dark blue shirts and white shorts- Norwich's yellow shirts and green shortsWhy do Norwich have to wear a changed strip of red?Is it all about replica kit sales?
I like my banter just like everyone else, it wasn’t that long ago Everton was giving LFC supporters stick. Now tables have turned pmsl. Seriously though I’m getting a little worried for Everton right now, the mgr has to go, his tactics are predictable. Eddie Howe, or Rafa the gaffer. I’d choose Rafa meself proven and won a trophy at every club he managed. Up for Rafa down for Eddie
Who'd have thought it? Norwich finally have healthy defenders, and they keep a clean sheet?
This comment was removed because it broke the house rules. Explain
I think David Moyes will relish the chance of being Manager at Evertonwill be surprised if he is not asked there a lot worse around
I can remember Norwich as long ago as the early 1970s when they first played in the top flight (the old first division) when an ex Everton player Ron Saunders was the manager and they were always a difficult team to beat
Well done Norwich.Lets hope you've turned that corner-I realise it was only the Ev but you can only beat what's in front of you!All the best* * * THE UNVARIABLES * * *
As an Everton supporter for over forty years I would rather they won a game of football (any game) but even if they lose it doesn’t really matter as long as the effort and attitude are there but some players are anonymous like they don’t want to know at times. Koeman had the right idea even if he never had the chance to finish the job by signing young players with potential and the right attitude
Everton should have hung on to Koeman .Astute manager
