Greenock Morton climbed out of the relegation play-off spot with victory at Scottish Championship bottom club Alloa Athletic.
John Sutton teed up Nicky Cadden for the second-half opener and Jack Baird swept home the second from Aidan Nesbitt's corner.
Liam Buchanan had an Alloa goal ruled out for offside, while Morton had a strong penalty shout for handball.
Liam Dick almost pulled one back late on but his shot flew over.
Morton are now a point clear of second-bottom Partick Thistle with a game in hand, while Alloa are four adrift of the Firhill side.
Alloa manager Peter Grant: "I was surprised Buchanan was offside. I'm now hearing he was a yard onside. It was a little bit of luck we needed but just didn't get it. If it puts us 1-0 up it's a completely different game."
Morton manager David Hopkin: "The handball call - it's a massive turning point in game. It's 0-0, it was a great strike. The whole stadium knew it was a penalty but we got three points."
