Yes Barnsley were good today but people should realise it's a long season. This is how things are won by getting points against teams when they are on form. The middle of the table will be full of teams who fail to be consistent. And the ones at the bottom will be the ones who couldn't get enough points when they were playing well. These are always the hard luck stories at the end of the season.
Why are people posting that they don't care about games at this level? If they really didn't care they wouldn't post. Great game at Oakwell and I was there - and wouldn't have been anywhere else other than following the team I have for all my life.
29. BREXITBAZ_GGMU2'I’m sure no one here cares about these Micky mouse teams in a Micky mouse league....Stick to the PREM'Only 6 teams have won the Prem, 2 of those only once Blackburn and Leicester are exceptions to the rule that it is the most predictable, boring league in the world. You can generally name the top 6 before a ball has been kicked. The epitome of a Mickey Mouse league
@19 The Knowledge, what a very inapt name pal. It does however highlight where you are from and what you do, but I would strongly suggest you talk more sense to your fares otherwise nobody will ride in your black cab (presuming you are licensed of course). Typical London bubbler, t**er
My team (LUFC) scraped a draw with Preston (started the day in 5th) and we didn't play well. However considering... 1st drew with 22nd3rd lost to 24th4th drew with 21st...you have to say it wasn't a terrible set of results for us. Long way to go still.
Barnsley is a team full of youngsters, and as such are very much a confidence team. If they can continue with this level of confidence, they will easily sail into mid-table.As for WBA, they seem a very professional outfit. I am see them holding on to their position and back in the Prem next season.
This comment was removed because it broke the house rules. Explain
Barnsley battered WBA, if they keep playing like that they will be safe !!
For #11, #19 & #21 (TheKnowledgeGap) "wasteland", "drivel"- as #20 (North) says, most fans know far better than you. It's hardly "wasteland", Sheff Utd came up, doing well, Wolves came up previously, more than holding their own. Outside of the superstar teams (cost zillions from foreign ownership), much of the EPL is turgid stuff, vastly overpaid & overpriced. Oh, BTW, get some English lessons?
For #29 (Brexit) "load of tosh" - well, YOU care enough to make a comment. It's hardly "Mickey Mouse", Sheff Utd came up and are doing well, Wolves came up previously, more than holding their own. Outside of the superstar teams (that cost zillions from foreign ownership), much of the EPL is turgid stuff. I'd sooner help er indoors shopping than watch the likes of Everton, West Ham, etc.
