Wrexham 3-1 Chorley

Two goals in the first 11 minutes from JJ Hooper gave Wrexham the platform to get back to winning ways with a 3-1 win over Chorley at the Racecourse.

Devonte Redmond provided Hooper with the assists for both early goals as the Dragons started strongest.

Omari Patrick extended Wrexham's lead with five minutes remaining before Ntumba Massanka scored a consolation.

Defeat sees Chorley drop to bottom of the National League, three places and five points behind 21st place Wrexham.

Wrexham manger Dean Keates said:

"We weathered the storm in the first half and we could have made life a little easier for ourselves in the second half, after the way things panned out.

"It was the reaction that we requested and we got it. The lads put the wrongs right from the Sutton game."
