Bromley 0-2 Wrexham

Bromley's play-off bid suffered a blow as they were beaten by a Wrexham side who boosted their survival hopes.

On his first start for Wrexham, David Keillor-Dunn opened the scoring with a brilliant solo goal after 11 minutes.

Aaron Rowe came closest to finding an equaliser but Rob Lainton denied him in what was an excellent display by the 30-year-old, who made several saves.

Jordan Ponticelli made the result safe by firing home from the edge of the area as Wrexham scored on the counter.

The result sees Bromley slip to ninth in the National League while Wrexham are 17th, but only two points clear of the drop zone.

Bromley are now without a win in six National League games.

Wrexham manager Dean Keates told BBC Sport Wales:

"We wanted to go and play and we did. We are the first team to keep a clean sheet here and the whole team were outstanding.

"We were full of commitment and work-rate.

"It is tight at the bottom, it is what it is, all we can do is worry about ourselves.

"It is all ifs and buts, all we can do is take each game as it comes, there are 11 games left and we want to win all of them."
