Rhian Brewster: Liverpool striker wanted by Premier League clubs

Rhian Brewster scored 11 goals to help Swansea reach the Championship play-offs

Several Premier League clubs, including Aston Villa, Brighton, Burnley, Crystal Palace, Fulham and Newcastle United, have asked about signing Liverpool striker Rhian Brewster on loan.

Brewster, 20, is with the Reds on a pre-season camp in Austria and the club will wait before making a decision on the England Under-21 international.

One of the considerations is the amount of first-team football he would get.

Brewster had a loan spell last season at Championship side Swansea City.

After joining in January, he scored 11 goals as the Swans reached the play-off semi-finals.

Bournemouth, Norwich City and Watford, who were all relegated from the Premier League last season, are also thought to be keen on a loan move for Brewster.

    Let him come to Palace, if they are worried about how much game time he will get, Liverpool's tea lady could probably score more than our strike force after last seasons efforts !!!

    Liverpool have zero interest in promoting academy players... aside from C.Kelleher, K.Grabara, T.Arnold, N.Williams, K.Hoever, N.Phillips, S.Van den Berg, C.Jones, H.Wilson, B.Woodburn, H.Elliott and R.Brewster... who are all in the first team already. If you want to fact check that, try the first team squad as listed on the Official Club site. Just the 12 academy players then...

    Klopp will give him every opportunity like TAA, Williams, Elliot and Jones but not easy to get game time in Liverpools front 3 especially at his age/experience. Did great at Swansea

    Fair do's, Liverpool have some cracking youngsters coming up through.

    He does seem like a decent, talented youngster and despite the rivalry in football, its sad to see many football fans slating the academy products of their rivals. United fans shouldn't be trolling Brewster the same way Liverpool fans shouldn't be trolling Greenwood. Let them develop and see what happens-it can only be good for the game.

    I think he could do with another full season under his belt at a Championship or Premier League club in order to really progress. The standard of the current front 3 at Liverpool is so high, he'll struggle to get in.

    Danny Ings struggled to get in, but 18 months of regular games and he starts to hit his potential.

    Stay at the Swans with a manager (Steve Cooper) who he knows and has worked with before @ England U17's when they won the U17 World Cup.

    There's also the Liverpool link, as Cooper previously coached/managed the youth academy

    See the difference between Klopp and the funny one is Klopp knows when the right time to introduce a kid into the team.
    The funny one throws players in in hope of getting a correct formation and result.

    Obviously Klopp’s method is the correct way to go..33 points is a good example.

    Frank lampard was loaned out to Swansea as a teenager.
    I'm sure there are lots of top players who had a loan spell as a youngster.

    Wrong on so many levels!!

    As an adjective, right means "righteous, correct, or appropriate"; as a noun, it means "that which is just or legal." Write means "to inscribe or compose." A wright is someone who builds or repairs something.
