Mark Sykes scored his second goal in as many games as Oxford came from behind to win at MK Dons.

Hiram Boateng handed the hosts an early lead but second-half goals from Matty Taylor and Sykes completed the comeback.

Karl Robinson's side snatched all three points from his former club and extended their unbeaten league run to nine.

Dons took the lead in the 11th minute when Troy Parrott fed through the onrushing Boateng, who slotted neatly past goalkeeper Simon Eastwood for his fourth goal of the season.

Oxford eventually made their dominance pay and found an equaliser after 65 minutes when Taylor nodded home from Herbie Kane's cross to take his goalscoring tally for the season into double figures.

United bagged the winner 11 minutes from time after a sloppy back pass allowed Sykes to slot home into an empty net.

Deep into added time, Oxford's Jordan Thorniley saw red for a second yellow as the play-off chasers made it back-to-back league wins.

    Poor 1st half - MKD played superbly. Swift movement of the ball from deep to flanks at speed. OUFC didn’t turn up. Holland must be more authoritative. Henry awol. 2nd half different game - midfield pressed. Have got to learn to take our chances. But pressure & incredible away support brought deserved goals. Superb stop by Eastwood, Moore & Long good. Sending off irrelevant. Great stadium. Wasted.

      Hardly wasted, full to capacity for our games against the top premiership sides we have played in the cups, full for the Brazil International we hosted, full for rugby World Cup games, numerous concerts and will be full for some of the women's euros finals games. Its a good community stadium which will hopefully one day host full house premiership games.

    Milton Keynes isn't a real place and they're not even a real club....AFC Wimbledon are a real club....MK Dons as a concept is nearly as bad as Swindon Town ! Eff off Swinedon !

    With 5 of our best players out I was expecting the worst but was pleasantly surprised how we outplayed Oxford in the first half, this team has some depth. But then the inevitable sitting back for the second half and there was only going to be one result. Even then it took a stupid mistake to gift the win to Oxford. When will we learn to keep pushing all game, we could have nicked a goal at the end

    They're claiming 9,900 fans attended? Someone must have been smoking strong weed. Their home end was 3/4 empty, and almost no-one in the Hilton side. If it wasn't for the Oxford fans and the MK drummer the stadium would have been silent.

      Wow 2 in 1 day. Do they breed you in Oxford so your eyes cant tell empty seats from full seats. You lack a bit of skill if you estimate3/4 empty, that is clearly nonsense and we both know it so stop trolling Severian. And also deaf, the cow shed sang more than oxford. You only did the old classic you're not singing anymore only once. To be frank given your impressive numbers you were mostly quiet.
