garysim take off your Hamilton Hating tinted glasses and look at the facts. For a start Jenson constantly complains about the car and Hamilton does not.Hamilton has not once complained about Stewarding decisions or drivers this year although he would have been very justified in doing so.I think your hatred of Hamilton is clear for all to see in your pathetic attempts to throw mud his way.
Nit picking? Hamilton was facing a 6 race ban for comments he made after the 2011 Monaco GP. That he called Red Bull racing 'just' a drinks company was in every newspaper. And then theres a host of other howlers. That he was a team player but in the same sentence blamed his team for lie-gate. Hamilton is a liability. I guess Red Bull and Ferrari are Hamilton haters too for not hiring him?
f1fan01 take of your hamilton tinted glasses and look at the facts, no driver complains about their car, other drivers or steward decisions more than hamilton. the common denominator in all those points is him. he is the problem. @ 111 he never apologised or retracted the statement so must still believe and think it so that makes it relevant.
@114 Boristhegreek.post 108 definitely applies to you also...---------------------------------------------------------------------The Hamilton Haters are forever nit picking and trying to take everything Hamilton says out of context so they can try and have a go at him but their arguments are so weak they are easy to spot a mile off.
@alex What you think and what is the reality doesnt seem to be equal. Schumacher went to Ferrari when it was totally in tatters. He build it up and never said build me a fast car or im out. Thats all that Hamilton is saying these days. And frankly hes the ONLY one who does that. It doesnt HELP negotiations one bit. Just as Lew saying 'just a drinks company' prolly didnt HELP for a Red Bull seat.
97.funkymc1Oh, OK, you got me. I am in fact Andrew Benson. Being trackside talking to drivers and team principals is not where it's at - it'a ll about learning at the feet of a funky dude in Glasgow. You win. I resign. Goodbye.
@110. garysim THANK YOU! I could not have asked for a clearer illustration of the point I made in post 108.As I said, you can spot the Hamilton haters a mile off with their weak arguments full of anger.
110. garysim Hamilton refers to the back markers as "those monkeys at the back"===You're talking about 1 reference from 3 years ago. I'd question what that has to do with anything right now.
f1fan01 nit picking? Hamilton refers to the back markers as "those monkeys at the back" he has no respect for his fellow drivers. If he is in an incident it is either the other guys fault or a "racing incident" He can't accept blame. No other top team would take him. If they would then they would have signed him already as he cleary wants to leave Mclaren.
94. LIZ CAPEWELL one driver always seems to have" problems" while the other driver has no problems.===Most people seem to think it's driving styles; Jenson's smooth style doesn't get the heat into the front tyres, compared to Lewis' more aggressive braking (see how he keeps locking up the inside front?). It's not favouritism just because a driver isn't doing well.
@105 Spot on!The Hamilton Haters are forever nit picking and trying to take everything Hamilton says out of context so they can try and have a go at him but their arguments are so weak they are easy to spot a mile off.
I think he will extend his contract, but with a performance related get out clause to allow him to move in 2014 if McLaren cannot produce a championship winning year.Webber's move to stay at Red Bull all but confirms Hamiltons continuing with McLaren.
98. Over worked same as always try to muscle his way through and end up crashing out with no points===What nonsense. How can he have been muscling his way "through" when he was the car in front. It's called defending your position, as he had every right to do. Maldonado should have yielded and tried again later - he was the car behind, and did not own the corner.
Sounds like he's got his head screwed on to me, very mature thinking. He's not threatening his team at all, he just wants to win & with time running out, wants to maximise the chances he has of winning multiple world championships, as a top driver/athlete, who wouldn't want that? Do any of you "Hamilton Haters" actually read these articles? or just the sensationalist Headlines by Benson et al?
"There's a lot of things to take into account. McLaren have supported me; they got me into F1."But I want to win. I'm not that young any more so I want to make sure that whatever I do I make the right decision to maximise my career.""To be honest, you have to base your decisions on much, much longer than such a short period of time. "Only half a year cannot decide six years of partnership".
100.Martin In my view he need to move.Latest 2014 because it will help him to work with new people.Nothing kills passion more then routine. He needs a fresh start. If at Williams,Sauber or Lotus it doesnt matter.JUST NEW PEOPLE around him
@Boristhegreek: have you ever read/heard LH actually threaten his team? NO! So you have no basis for your argument, but to be honest, I think EVERY 'top' driver who wants to win will somewhere along the line say "I want a better car or I'm off!", whether that's publicly or behind closed doors, or, like MSC or FA, will negotiate 'Number 1' status within the team or they're off! You're just deluded!
who cares what happens in 2013. it's not on the BBC so i won't be watching it
