Team Lotus ran their 2011 car in a straightline aerodynamic test at Duxford aviation museum. Technical officer Mike Gascoyne reports on social networking site Twitter: "Fantastic day here in Duxford, sun is out, great announcement about the tie-up with Caterham cars and lots of fans. McLaren technical director Paddy Lowe says he is feeling "emotional" after what he described as his "most challenging" winter in 20 years which culminated in Lewis Hamilton's win for McLaren in China. Force India began its first series of talent searches to find and nuture a future racing star from India. The F1 team ran its first series of regional karting trials for 14-17 year-olds in Mumbai with a further six events to be held across India in the next month before the finale close to the team's HQ in Silverstone. Mercedes driver Michael Schumacher already has one eye on the Race of Champions event which takes place in Frankfurt in December. Schumacher says he likes the event so much because, "you have a party in the evening, just have fun with your mates and enjoy driving exotic cars".Michael Schumacher
