McLaren's Jenson Button says the team should be "very proud" of their fifth pace finish in the Chinese Grand Prix, given that his car is "not quite good enough".
Button was making one less stop than his leading rivals in a race that was won by Ferrari's Fernando Alonso. Lotus's Kimi Raikkonen and Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton fought off a late challenge from Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel to finish on the podium.
Button says it was a "strange race" where he "could not block" and "there was no point fighting people", but that the ten points he picked up was a "pretty good result".
