BBC Sport - Brazilian Grand Prix: Rosberg quickest in dramatic second practice at Interlagos

Three red flags as Rosberg quickest

Nico Rosberg beat Mercedes team-mate and title rival Lewis Hamilton to the fastest time in second practice for the Brazilian Grand Prix.

The session was red-flagged on three separate occasions, with Toro Rosso's Jean-Eric Vergne, Sauber's Esteban Gutierrez and Ferrari's Fernando Alonso all breaking down, with Alonso himself extinguishing a fire at the back of his Ferrari.

The two Mercedes were well ahead of the rest of the field, with Kimi Raikkonen setting the third fastest time, 0.573secs adrift of Rosberg.
