BBC Sport - Brazilian Grand Prix: Mercedes bosses Lauda, Wolff and Lowe pleased with record

Mercedes bosses proud of new record

Paddy Lowe says he is "quite emotional" after Mercedes set a new record for single season one-two finishes (11) and also races led from start-to-finish in a single season (13) at the Brazilian Grand Prix.

Drivers Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg have achieved 30 podium finishes between them this season and the team have now surpassed McLaren's record of the most one-two finishes in a season set in 1988.

However McLaren, with Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost as its drivers, achieved the previous record of ten in 16 races, while Mercedes have taken 18 to get to the landmark.
