The fledgling Manor team have made a high-profile signing by recruiting former Mercedes technical director Bob Bell as a consultant.
The 57-year-old, who left the world champions in November, oversaw constructors' world titles in 2005 and 2006 as technical director of Renault.
Bell is to advise Manor's management as they rebuild the team.
The outfit were rescued ahead of this season after collapsing last autumn in their previous guise as Marussia.
Bell follows in the footsteps of his former Renault colleague Pat Symonds, who worked for Manor as a consultant before joining Williams, where he is chief technical officer.
Manor have also added two further experienced names to their permanent staff.
Former Toro Rosso chief designer Luca Furbatto joins as head of design and Gianluca Pisanello, formerly of the now-defunct Caterham team, becomes chief engineer.
