Valentine's Day delay in Ballinderry

Ballinderry assistant manager Fabian Muldoon says St Valentine's Day is on-hold in the parish until Sunday because of the club's All-Ireland Club Football semi-final against Dublin giants St Vincent's at Newry on Saturday.

Team captain Conor Nevin said the prospect of playing at Croke Park on St Patrick's Day hah been driving on the Ballinderry squad despite wind and rain of recent weeks.

However, influential youngster Ryan Bell acknowledged that the Shamrocks players were expecting a "huge challenge" against a Vincent's team which includes Dublin stars Diarmuid Connolly, Ger Brennan and Tomas Quinn.
