Derry hurlers beat London by six points in Division 2A

Ruairi Convery starred with a personal tally of 1-7 as Derry hurlers beat London 1-13 to 0-10 in Division 2A of the Hurling League at Celtic Park.
London had Stephen Frawley sent-off in the closing minutes of the first half but the sides went in level at the interval at five points apiece.
Derry made the extra man count in the second period, although Stephen Lambert contributed 0-7 for the visitors.
Derry had lost to Kerry, 4-24 to 3-9, in their opening fixture two weeks ago.
