Tyrone boss Mickey Harte has called up county minor captain Conor McKenna to his senior squad.

Eglish youngster McKenna, whose brothers Ryan and Emmett are already in the Red Hand squad, has been attracting interest from Australian Rules clubs.

Tyrone GAA bosses will hope that his early promotion to the senior panel could convince him to remain at home.

McKenna has already taken part in a number of Australian Football Rules trials held in Ireland.

The Tyrone minor joins the Red Hand squad ahead of Saturday's All-Ireland Football qualifier against Louth.

Meanwhile, Sligo referee Marty Duffy will take charge of Saturday's All-Ireland qualifier at Omagh.

Duffy was the referee for the recent controversial Ulster quarter-final between Armagh and Cavan when a mass brawl broke out before the start of the game.

Armagh whistler Padraig Hughes will be the man in the middle for Cavan's qualifier against Westmeath at Breffni Park.
