Antrim Under-21 hurlers beaten by Wexford in semi-final

The Under-21 match against Wexford was Kevin Ryan's last match as Antrim manager

Kevin Ryan's tenure as Antrim hurling manager ended when the county's Under-21 lost their All-Ireland semi-final against Wexford by 1-20 to 1-8.

Full-forward Conor McDonald scored seven points for Wexford who were the beaten finalists last year.

McDonald also flicked on for Conor Devitt to score the Leinster county's 34th-minute goal at Semple Stadium.

Christy McNaughton netted the goal for Antrim who had Damon McMullan sent-off late in the game for two yellow cards.
