Fermanagh boss Pete McGrath has been named manager of the Ulster team for the annual Inter-provincial Football Championship.
McGrath, who took Down to All-Ireland titles in 1991 and 1994, guided the unfancied Erne County to this year's Championship quarter-finals.
Former Antrim manager Kevin Ryan will take charge of the Ulster hurling team for their inter-pros.
The semi-finals are on 5 December with the finals played the following day.
Connacht won the football title last year while Leinster are the current hurling champions.
McGrath has international experience as manager of the Ireland team for the 2004 and 2005 International Series matches against Australia.
Ryan played hurling for his native Waterford throughout the 1980s before later moving into management.
He was in charge of the Carlow senior hurling team from 2008-2012 then moved to Antrim, taking them to four successive Ulster Championship titles.
He stood down as Saffrons boss in August.
