Donegal's Neil McGee has been suspended for one game while the Ulster team and Kerry have each been fined 7,500 Euro following Sunday's ill-tempered game.

McGee clashed with Kerry forward Alan Fitzgerald, who was sent off as a result of the incident in the league game at Austin Stack Park in Tralee.

Donegal's Leo McLoone was also red-carded in a game punctuated by several ugly skirmishes.

Kerry pair Shane Enright and Denis Daly were shown black cards.

The ban imposed by the Central Competitions Controls Committee rules McGee out of the Division One encounter against Roscommon.

Kerry ended Donegal's winning run in Division One with a 1-13 to 1-8 victory.
