Jones' success inspires slope surge

BBC Breakfast's Mike Bushell reports from the centre where winter Olympic medallist Jenny Jones started her snowboarding career and sees how her success has inspired others to try the sport.

Jones won the bronze medal in the slopestyle event in Sochi, having first started snowboarding at the age of 17 at the Mendip Snowsport Centre in Churchill, Somerset.

Since her victory the centre has seen a huge increase in interest, selling out of beginner snowboarding lessons until March.

If you would like to get started in snowboarding there are more details here, and there is more information about getting involved in all the winter sports featured at the Olympics in Sochi here.
