A 46-year-old man has been released by Irish police investigating dissident activity

A man held in Dublin by Irish police investigating dissident republican activity has been released.

A spokesperson for the Irish police said that a file was being prepared for the prosecution service.

Small amounts of ammunition and cocaine were found during a number of searches in the Irish capital on Friday morning.

A 54-year-old man and a 55-year-old woman remain in custody in relation to the investigation.
