Michael Hoey and Gareth Maybin miss cut at Wales Open
Northern Ireland pair Michael Hoey and Gareth Maybin have failed to make the halfway cut at the Wales Open.
Belfast man Hoey and Maybin from Ballyclare had rounds of 76 on Friday.
It left Hoey on nine over par for the tournament and Maybin two shots better off on seven over with the projected cut at 146 which is four over.
England's Ross Fisher was the clubhouse leader on six under with Ireland's Damien McGrane and Simon Thornton on level par after their second rounds.
