Michael Hoey and Gareth Maybin miss the cut in Cologne

Northern Ireland pair Michael Hoey and Gareth Maybin missed the halfway cut after the second round of the BMW International Open in Cologne.
Belfast player Hoey finished one shot outside the cut mark of one under after a 75 left him on level par.
Ballyclare's Maybin ended two over par after a 73 and also missed out.
Damien McGrane equalled the best score of the day with a fine 66 which leaves him on two under, while Paul McGinley is two off the lead on nine under.
Simon Thornton finished on one under which will see him play at the weekend in Germany. Shane Lowry hit a 75 which saw him finish on two over.
