Jersey's Olivia Jordan-Higgins grabbed second place at the Credit Union Challenge to clinch her best ever professional finish.
She shot nine under par over the three rounds at Capital Hills, Albany to get the runners up spot for the first time.
Jordan-Higgins finished just one shot behind Jaclyn Sweeney who birdied the final hole to get her first tour win, leaving the Jersey golfer second.
"I have to say it feels amazing," said Jordan-Higgins on Twitter.
"A win would have been nice but birdie on the 18th makes a definite champion, well done Jaclyn Sweeney.
"I have gained so much confidence from this week and I look forward to the upcoming events."
Jordan-Higgins' performance means she climbs from 36th to 14th in the money list, earning $17,885 in the opening 10 events of the season.
