Cornwall's Sarah-Jane Boyd missed the cut in her first ever British Open, finishing on 15-over par at St Andrews.
Boyd bogeyed two of her first four holes before hitting back with a birdie at the seventh.
But she immediately gave that shot back, bogeying the par-three eighth, before slipping away on the back nine.
The Truro golfer carded four bogeys and two doubles to shoot a 10-over 82 and tie for last place with America's Vicky Hurst, missing the cut by 14 strokes.
