Graeme McDowell moved up the leaderboard in the Arnold Palmer Invitational thanks to a five-under-par 67 in Saturday's third round.

The former US Open winner carded birdies at eight, 12, 14, 15 and 17 in a bogey-free round at Bay Hill.

McDowell, who opened with a 68 before struggling to a 77 on Friday, goes into Sunday's final round on four under.

He lies 11 shots behind tournament leader Adam Scott who is 15 under par and holds a three-stroke advantage.

American Keegan Bradley is second on 12 under par.

McDowell is in a share of 19th place while his fellow Northern Irishman Darren Clarke missed the cut by seven shots after a second-round 78 left him nine over.
