Ryder Cup: Marc Warren feels he has 'outside' chance of selection

Marc Warren hopes the door for being a wildcard pick for next month's Ryder Cup at Gleneagles remains ajar.
The 33-year-old picked up his third European Tour title by winning the Made In Denmark event in Aalborg.
"Maybe an outside, outside chance," Warren told BBC Scotland.
"I'm playing in Italy and even if I win there again it would still be an outside chance. We're still a long way off but it's nice to be mentioned in that."
Warren's two-stroke victory in Denmark ended a seven-year wait for his third European Tour success.
His previous win came at the Johnnie Walker Championship in 2007 at Gleneagles, where the Ryder Cup will take place at the end of September.
"It's on a golf course I've done well on in the past," said Warren, whose win sees him jump to 68th in the world rankings.
"With it being played on home soil and being a Scottish golfer, it's going to be massive for everyone connected with it.
"I'll go to Italy and I'll be giving it my best again and you never know, Paul McGinley might see something, but if not, it's just an honour to be mentioned in that company."
The other main Scottish contender for a spot in captain McGinley's European team is Stephen Gallacher, who is ranked 34th in the world.
"I've been looking up to Stevie," said Warren, originally from East Kilbride. "He's been a great player for a long time.
"I'm getting there slowly but surely, creeping up towards that top 50 and hopefully even higher. But Scotland has a lot of good players on tour.
"The last five, seven years we've been taking a little bit of stick, not performing in the big events.
"Paul Lawrie playing in the last Ryder Cup event kind of quietened that down a bit, then Stevie Gallacher over the last couple of years, and hopefully myself and few of the other guys might come forward."
