Ireland's Padraig Harrington is the halfway leader at the Honda Classic, which will finish on Monday after bad weather in Florida caused more delays.

The second round was completed on Saturday after rain and bad light forced an early end to play on Friday.

Saturday's third round was only 50 minutes old when play for the day was abandoned with lightning in the area.

Harrington, a three-time major winner, takes a one-shot lead over America's Patrick Reed into Sunday's round three.

The Irishman, who has not won on the PGA or European Tour since winning the last of his majors - the 2008 US PGA Championship - is ranked 297th in the world.

He was as low as 371 last year, but victory in December's Indonesia Open on the Asian Tour has helped him climb back up the rankings.

England's Ian Poulter is in contention after sinking an eagle and five birdies in a six-under-par 64 to move into a tie for third place on five under.

Poulter's compatriot Luke Donald is one shot further back, while Russell Knox of Scotland is on three under.

World number one Rory McIlroy missed the cut after a four-over-par 74 left him on seven over, 14 shots adrift of Harrington.
